Have you ever wondered what happens if you do not get the proper nutrients on a daily basis? Well, here's your opportunity to learn more. In this WebQuest you are going to work with a partner to complete research that will help you analyze the effects of various nutrient deficiencies on your health and identify the role nutrients play in various medical conditions.
TASK
Research various nutrients to identify food sources of the nutrients and medical conditions that could result if you do not get the proper amount of each nutrient.

EVALUATION
After completing the WebQuest you should take this short QUIZ. Print the certificate with your name and quiz score. Once you have completed the quiz on an index card complete the STOP (write how the lesson Started; the Topic was...; our Opportunity to practice was..., and the Purpose of learning this information is...) closing activity and turn it in to the teacher before leaving the classroom. Please attach a printout of your quiz certificate to your nutrient deficiencies chart. Place your assignment in the tray for your class period.
